Remove Super Glue from Skin

Removing super glue from skin is not that difficult. Best thing is not to panic when you do get your fingers stuck together with super glue or Mister Glue or similar type glues. These are cyanoacrylates and they react to the presence of moisture. The oils on the skin will slow super glue down. Dry skin will definitely bond more quickly and harder than oily skin.

If you want to remove super glue from fingers that have been stuck together or you have just spilled some and it has dried on your skin then warm soapy water will help. It gets under the glue and 'lifts' the glue off. If they are really stuck together then let them soak for a few minutes. Even if left the super glue will slough off so unless it is really urgent that you remove this super glue from your skin then don't worry. It is not doing any damage.

If the warm soapy water is not quick enough then you can apply some petroleum jelly or K-Y jelly to. This can be used for removing crazy glue from fingers as well as it is the same base: a cyanoacrylate.
