Mister Glue Description
Definition: (cyanoacrylate) - a one part acrylic based glue that is VERY fast acting. Excellent adhesion strength and can be used with a wide variety of materials.
There are different viscosities (thicknesses) of cyanoacrylates or superglues. Mister Glue is a very thin glue or low viscosity. As a result, for example you could put two pieces of ceramic together and the glue on the edge and the Mister Glue will wick into the seam.
Mr Glue is like superglue on steroids. And it won't dry out in the bottle. Mister Glue is stronger, faster and will glue more materials than superglue. Glue rubber to rubber or wood to wood and within a few minutes try and pull the two pieces apart and you will tear the material - that is the power and stregth of this glue. A small tube of super glue is usually useless when you go back to it the second time. A bottle of Mister Glue will give you dozens and dozens of uses.
Mister Glue will bond almost anything to anything. It is an industrial glue, made in Germany, that is capable of bonding wood, metal, ceramics, glass and most plastics to name a few. Mister Glue will not dry out in the bottle like Super Glue and Krazy Glue. (Keep refrigerated)
You may have come across similar glues in the name of Pasco Fix, The Last Glue, Miracle Glue and Max 1. These are all excellent adhesives. They last a long time and have hundreds of uses.
Mister Glue is not for every situation but will do any number of your household repairs and do them very quickly. There is no mixing as with an epoxy. The bond sets up very quickly so that you do not have to hold onto the two pieces until your muscles start to shake.
Mister Glue sometimes sets up too quickly for some situations but there are solutions for this as well as it will wick - as in the example above, you can put two pieces of ceramic together and the glue will go into the seam.
